ABOUT BIRDSONG
Set in a tranquil forest glade just 200 metres from the Maitland Bay Track, Birdsong is the perfect base for exploring beautiful Bouddi National Park and hiking the Bouddi Coastal Walk.
Birdsong is a quality built home, with luxurious living spaces spilling graciously into a colourful garden and resort-style pool shared with the owners. Designed to be a cocooning space for a couple hiding away as much as a place for families or groups of friends to enjoy quality time away together, Birdsong will charm you with it's relaxed, comfortable and elegant spaces.
After a day enjoying some of the best bushwalks, kayaking, mountain biking and beaches in the region from right outside the door, you can cool off in the pool, or cozy up by the fire depending on the time of year.
Birdsong accommodates 6 in great comfort with 2 large bedrooms (one king with ensuite, and one queen) both opening onto a courtyard garden, and an extensive upstairs studio with king bed, home theatre area and deck overlooking the pool area.
The main living areas open out almost completely though bifold doors into the garden adjoining the pool area. With abundant birdlife all about in the woodland setting, Birdsong feels like a retreat. On rainy days there is the library of books, the home theatre with Apple TV, Netflix, Stan, high-speed wifi, and many games. Curling up in one of the bay window areas or in the hammock with a good magazine or a book is a pleasure to be treasured.
The fully featured kitchen with gas appliances, quality cookware and abundant cutlery, crockery and utensils is great for entertaining and there is plenty of space both inside and out to enjoy your meals and drinks.
Parking is convenient, with space both within the gates of the property and plenty of uncrowded parking on the street outside. For Tesla owners, there is also Destination Charging available.

Sit back with a cool drink by Birdsong's resort style pool, surrounded by colourful flowers, or cool off after an active day walking, cycling or kayaking around Bouddi National Park and Brisbane Water.
Parking and Destination Charging
There is parking in the driveway, plus plenty of safe roadside parking just outside. For Tesla owners there is Destination Charging available during off-peak hours.

THINGS TO DO
Bouddi Coastal Walk
If you're thinking about walking the remarkable Bouddi Coastal Walk then Birdsong is your perfect base. Pick one of the shorter walks or set yourself challenges with a week of different treks from right outside your door - from gentle to very challenging.
Maitland Bay
Maitland Bay is one of the gems of the Australian East Coast and you'll be staying just above it. Set within the Marine Extension of Bouddi National Park, the beach is an elegant crescent of golden sand with green bushland hills surrounding it. With great snorkelling and the mystery of the SS Maitland wreck on the sheltering reef, you'll have to visit.
Local Beaches
With eight beaches within a few minutes drive of Birdsong, there''s lots to discover. With beach towels, umbrella, folding chairs snorkels, masks, fins and beach toys in the Goodie Store, you'll have everything you need for the perfect beach day.
Local Dining
We're fortunate to have great restaurants all around us, ranging from the casual excellence of Wild Flower at Bells to the exotic and colourful Asian fusion of the Lucky Bee. The Fat Goose, The View, Spinnakers and Hardys Bistro are all close by and together make Bouddi the foodie destination of the region.
Mountain Biking & Kayaking
For the active, bring your bikes and kayaks, you'll be spoilt for choice. With many tracks from right outside the door, you'll work up a great appetite. And for kayakers, you have the many bays of Brisbane Water available for exploration as well as access to Broken Bay and the magnificent coastline for the more experienced.
Art and Culture
The Bouddi Peninsula is known for its prominent local artists. With arts trails, galleries and performances at the Wagstaffe Hall at various times, look out for opportunities to engage with the community. Nearby, the Regional Gallery at Caroline Bay has regular exhibitions.
